Title: "Bach's Well Tempered Tuning"
In an earlier paper the author has shown that the drawing on the cover sheet
of J. S. Bach's Well Tempered Clavier (1722) can be best understood as a
tuning specification for tempering fifths in terms of beats per second. In
the current article, topological information concerning the clockwise and
anticlockwise orientation of the loops is considered and interpreted. This
is shown to confirm the results of the earlier paper.
Key Words: Bach, Temperament, Tuning, Well Tempered Clavier, Das
